Salasar Balaji Temple has been founded in 1811 samvat by Mahatma Mohan Das ji when he dreamt of Lord Hanuman ji with moustache and beard. Lord hanuman Ji disguised as a saint with a beard and a moustache and a cosh (gadaa) in his hand. The Lord himself had appeared at Mohandas Ji's doorstep.
